What is Falling Feather Studio?
Falling Feather Studio creates small-batch candles, wax melts, bath products, and handmade stone decor pieces. Our work focuses on thoughtful design, quality materials, and products made to feel personal and intentional.
Where are your products made?
Our products are handmade in small batches in Georgia.
Candles
What type of wax do you use?
We use soy wax for our candles and wax products.
What kind of wicks do your candles have?
Most of our candles use cotton wicks or wooden wicks, depending on the vessel, wax blend, and fragrance design.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn time varies by candle size, vessel type, and burn habits. For best results, follow the care instructions included with your candle.
How should I care for my candle?
- Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn.
- Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn.
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep candles away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Glass Candle Lids
Do glass candles include engraved lids?
Many of our glass candles include engraved wooden lids. Engraving designs may vary by batch and can feature different feather-inspired artwork. Available styles are selected and shipped at random.
Stone Vessels & Decor
Are your stone pieces handmade?
Yes. Each stone vessel and decor piece is individually mixed, poured, finished, and sealed by hand. Small variations in color, pattern, and texture are part of the handmade process.
Can stone candle vessels be reused?
Many vessels can be repurposed after the candle is finished. Remove remaining wax, clean gently with warm soapy water, and use as decor, storage, or a small catchall. Do not use vessels for food or drink.
Product Images
Why do some product images look more polished or styled than others?
Some featured images may use enhanced or AI-assisted lifestyle renderings based on the actual product to help show scale, mood, or styling inspiration. Additional images will show the real handmade item as accurately as possible. We use both so you can view the product clearly while also imagining it in your space.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Most orders are processed within 1–7 business days. Shipping time depends on the carrier and destination.
Do you ship wax products during summer?
Yes. During warmer months, wax products may only ship Monday through Wednesday to help reduce the chance of heat damage during transit.
Returns & Damaged Items
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because our products are handmade, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged or there is a genuine defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged or defective?
If your order arrives damaged or there is a genuine defect in the product, we will make it right. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the damaged or defective item
- A brief description of the issue
Once reviewed, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion, depending on the situation. Damage claims submitted outside the 48-hour window may not be eligible.
